I don’t know how it’ll work for me. I get it. I used to be where you’re right now…
I couldn’t trust myself with any decision, constantly looking out for validation from other people, while struggling to trust them too.
I assumed the worst case scenarios and sabotaged myself, holding back and playing small. I stayed in unhealthy relationships because I was too scared to move on. I couldn’t forgive myself for my past mistakes and spent a lot of energy beating myself up.
As a result, I self-isolated, building a wall between myself and other people.
My trust issues affected my 1. intimate relationships as I couldn’t open up to my partners and let the love in; 2. academic career as I didn’t feel I had what it takes to push to the next level; 3. friendships as I struggled to be vulnerable with other people.
Through healing these blocks, I’m able to trust my intuition, my body, people in my life and ability to enjoy the life. I trust money and my own gifts to attract exactly what I want.

What does it take to trust?
Step 1. Stop holding on
When there’s a lack of trust, you naturally hold on: you withhold information, hold down hurt, hold yourself up, hold in tears, hold yourself back - there are so many different ways in which you hold on. Recognizing these patterns is the first step of opening to trust.
Step 2. Start letting go of pain
It’s hard to let go unless you know what it is that you’re holding onto. It’s like you’re ‘in it’. Once you’re consciously aware of the patterns, you can start the process of release, letting go of hurts caused by parental conflicts, betrayals in relationships, social rejection and negative life experiences.
Step 3. Start letting go of control
A lack of trust often leads to control issues. To feel safe, you had to learn to micro-manage your environment and other people. Addressing this sense of unsafety and mistrust is likely to loosen up the desire to be in control.
Step 4. Reconnect with your body
Your body never lies. You know if something is right for you or not in your bones. It just you learnt to override your body’s messages. The more you come into your body, the more you’ll be able to trust yourself.
