Don’t wait!

I want to share something personal today, but first I want to urge you to take your dreams seriously.

Don’t wait for perfection!

Don’t wait for the right moment!

Don’t wait to be ready!

One of my dreams has been sharing Fragile Freedom, my second book, with one of my teachers. He was diagnosed with cancer in January of this year so I knew that the time was tight so I had a strong motivation to get it to the finish line. I wanted him to read it more than anyone else because he was instrumental in helping me heal the wounds I shared in the book. His unconditional love has been an antidote to all my pain.

And I almost did it.

Almost.

I dropped by my teachers’ house (they are a couple) with an advanced copy of my book in early October. I didn’t have any expectation of seeing them on that day, but I was blessed to find them on their sunny porch having breakfast together.

He was still with us, but started withdrawing. His condition deteriorated fast after that, so I’m sad that I didn’t get the book done sooner. He’s in no state to read it now.

Such a pity. So much regret.

Do you know what was his regret? He got to such an incredible level of mastery in giving his gift and suddenly he ran out of time.

What have you wanted to get done but have been waiting…

Waiting for the right time.

Waiting for the perfect conditions.

Waiting for permission.

Do it now!
