Why You Put Breaks on When You Get Closer to Success
Do you feel like you put your heart and soul into something, but somehow, you’re not making any progress?
Perhaps, you take all the right actions and see no results. It can be so frustrating! You then procrastinate, sabotage yourself or simply go into avoidance.
Effectively, one part of you takes action, and another part puts breaks on.
But why would you go into resistance in relation to something you really want?
The thing with resistance is… it’s not bad. It’s got great intentions of protecting you. For your subconscious mind, if your safety is at stake, a little inconvenience (or even massive frustration) is a small price to pay.
Your resistance keeps you safe.
I've done a lot of work with clients around fear of failure, exposure and success, and paradoxically, fear of success is often way stronger than fear of failure or exposure.
When you succeed, you can become more visible. All your insecurities around being seen for wrong reasons can surface. Your subconscious fears of criticism and punishment, jealousy and rejection, not fitting in with people you love, etc hold you back.
In other words, it doesn't feel safe to shine.
And at the root of that fear are childhood experiences, for example, being bullied at school or criticized and punished at home.
The good news is that this can be healed.
I'm running a 3-hour masterclass where you can gain clarity around your resistance and heal it at a core level. It's on 11 October at 12:00-15:00 UK time.
And if you join us now, you'll get three guided audio healings on 1. releasing anger and rage; 2. accessing anxiety antidote and 3. re-wiring your nervous system to feel safe if you join by 4 October.
All details are here.
With all my love
