Closet Poem

When you change and grow, the ‘new you’ becomes your ‘new normal’. Unless you have some reference point, sometimes it can be hard to see your own transformation. I found a poem I’ve written back in early 2020 and wow, I’ve changed a lot!

Since writing this poem, I moved to my own house in Devon, met my soulmate, quit my university job, published my book and established a successful healing business.

While this is all impressive, by far the biggest change is the level of trust I have now: in myself, in others and life itself. If this is you too, join my next masterclass on 'Tuning Into Trust' on 8 September 6-9pm UK time: www.gularavincent.co.uk/trust

Inside me

Inside me
There’s love
Untapped
Waiting
Dormant
Inside me
It’s never
Ending tap
Of flow and
Restlessness
Inside me
There are
Questions, doubts
And answers
Inside me
There’s magic,
Stories and
Opportunities.
Inside me
Inside me
Inside me
It’s all
An insider job
The insights
The breakthroughs
The mindset
The world mirrors
My innards
Inside me
Is the key
To my compassion.
Inside me
Inside me
Inside me
Is rage
At injustice
Past pain
Long past
And yet alive
Flaring up
At the slightest
Provocation.
Inside me
Is an invitation
For fun, touch
And love
Inside me
Is permission slip
Buried deep
Beneath the gunk
Inside me is my
Inner child
Craving for attention
Inside me is
Moon and sun
Pulling in
Opposite directions
Inside me a shaman
A whore and a mama
Inside me is
My innocence
That I thought was
Long gone.
Inside me is a
Sound
Of gongs and the oceans
And snippets of
Mugham and folk songs
Inside me is my song
I came here for
My purpose
Thirst for life
Inside me is
My dream.

P.S. I'm finally living my dream. Do you want me to help you to live yours? Drop me a line - let's talk.

With love,

Gulara
