Cost-Benefit Analysis
I’ve just signed up to an expensive course, something that I haven’t done for a while, and I’m noticing a difference in my reactions.
I used to look at the price tag and think ‘Oh wow, that’s a lot of money to pay out. That’ll cost me.’
Nowadays, I ask: how much does that issue cost me physically, mentally, emotionally and financially?
As you may know, I’m offering a new course on feeling good enough and I want to ask you the same question.
What does not feeling good enough cost you physically, mentally, emotionally and financially?
When you don't feel 'enough', you live in constant fear of being exposed.
- You might feel like an imposter at work, out of your depth, anxious that you're not doing enough and that you'll be found out and shamed. So you’re likely to hide out and even when you achieve something great, you may not share it with others out of fear that they might criticise you. You’re likely to over give and overcompensate due to your feelings of inadequacy. All of this is likely to affect your pay rate and success, causing frustration because deep down you know that you worth so much more.
- You might hold back in your relationship(s) with others, hiding your true self and trying hard to please them. It might feel like a one-way street: you give and people receive, leaving you drained and exhausted. You might feel frustrated because your needs are not met, but it may be hard to expose your vulnerabilities, so you might keep going until it feels unbearable. You’re likely to bottle up your feelings, until you loose it, and then feel ashamed and guilty of your reactions.
- You may carry a lot of body shame, hiding your body (and yourself) from others. This constant stress and tension at home and at work are likely to create aches and pains in your body, aggravating your sense of dissatisfaction with your life.
In short, this anxiety around not feeling good enough affects your emotions, creates constant tension in your body with knock on effect on your health, stops you from shining at work thus undermining your financial prosperity, and it makes you miserable at home.
So, on the balance, is it worth tolerating this discomfort for much longer or is it worth investing £299 into your healing that can free you from the tyranny of your inner critic?
P.S. Join my 5-week ‘I Am Enough’ course now to receive a super early bird discount. The first 10 people who join the course will also receive a 3-hour healing experience ‘Tuning Into Trust’ for free (normally £99) + an audio course ‘Calm Communication’.
