How I Do Healing
Much of my work with clients is to do with wounded parts. I use a number of different tools to help my clients to access the experiences which are creating pain and suffering in their lives today.
For example, I was working with a client recently who said that she was on the brink of loosing her home. Her financial situation is creating massive stress in her life and there’s no external support. She also struggles to maintain a healthy long-term relationship. She’s in the perpetual state of heartbreak, feeling rejected and abandoned by very nice men who really like her but end up disconnecting anyway. She has done 20+ years of work on herself and still there’re no positive shifts in these areas of her life.
So I asked her to tune into the part that didn’t believe that she can transform her life. Immediately, she remembered her parents’ divorce when she was 12. It was messy and complicated. Her dad left without giving them any financial support. Her mother, who according to my client was an intense angry woman, insisted that her children called their father on a regular basis and asked him for money. The father didn’t budge. In fact, when he heard my client’s voice, he became quiet and tried to disengage. She felt constantly rejected and got used to a lack of support and abundance in her life.
Can you see how what had happened when she was 12 years old is still playing out in her life today?
I invited her to visualize her younger self and send her love and compassion. I used Compassion Key, one of the techniques I employ to release stuck energy and trauma. It’s deceptively simple and incredibly powerful. What I do is to acknowledge all the pain and suffering that that 12 year old had experienced. I guide the client through a set of phrases which all begin with ‘I’m so sorry’. Now, this has nothing to do with pity. If a child came up to you and said ‘I’m really hurting right now’, how would you respond? You’d probably put your arms around this child and say ‘It’s OK, I’m here, you’ll be OK.’ So this is effectively what you do with younger parts of yourself. And as you hold and love these parts into wholeness, the pain gets released from your system and all the energy that you have been expending on pushing those memories down becomes available for you to use in constructive ways.
When that old pain is addressed, it stops playing out in your present day life. You get an acknowledgement of your suffering and it creates a resolution of the old problem. It becomes possible then to move on and create a new reality and stop replaying the old one.
It can be hard to let go of painful situations until you are seen and heard.
When I work with you, my primary goal is for you to feel received, so that you can release everything that’s been weighing you down and keeping you stuck. I don’t ‘sell’ a particular tool. In fact, I use six different methods depending on what’s needed in the moment, such as Constellation processes, Non-Personal Awareness technique, Reiki, etc.
Here's what one of my past clients said:
"In one hour Gulara managed to help me shift some core issues I have been consciously working on for at least 20 years. She got to the root cause, which went back even further than I thought.
I would highly recommend her and am very grateful for an incredible session."
