Introducing… End Emotional Eating

As the name of this course suggests, if you use food to comfort yourself, you’re eating down your emotions.

Nothing wrong with it as such. Sometimes, we’ve got to do what we’ve got to do. And as someone who has done it for pretty much all my life, I know what it’s like to push your emotions down with sugar and food.

The thing is using food to suppress your emotions is a symptom, not the cause of your low self-esteem, lack of confidence or intense self-hatred. Overeating creates problems of its own, because you pile on weight that has a knock-on effect on your health and emotional and physical wellbeing. But as long as you deal with the symptom, nothing changes, apart from your dieting plans.

If you address the emotions you’re covering up, food loses its charge. Then over-eating is no longer an issue and the weight drops away.

That’s exactly what I found out for myself. When I was finally able to heal the cause, I started listening to my body. For first time in my life, I felt my own love towards myself and my body. I trust myself with food now. I know I’ll eat when I am hungry and stop when I’m full. Hence, no deprivation.

If you’re interested in exploring the underlying causes of overeating, then join my new 5-week course. This is not a ‘typical’ weight loss programme. I do not offer diet plans or exercise regime. I’m pretty sure that if you’re still reading this post, you’ve done it all. What you get is healing the underlying causes – when you feel lighter emotionally, your body will lighten up too.

I’m offering a super-early bird discount rate. So if you’re ready to face the real issues and deal with them head on, then you can sign up here: www.gularavincent.co.uk/end-emotional-eating
