What Happens on My In-Person Retreats - You Are Invited!
Picture this:
You arrive to the retreat centre and you immediately feel at home (it’s called ‘Homecoming’ for a reason, you know). It feels peaceful and spacious, and as you drop your bags at the door and admire the jaw-dropping views from the ‘sun room’, something in you relaxes.
‘I made it and it feels so right.’
You go into your room (check this one out) and have some space to breathe and recover from your journey.
This is the ‘play room’ where all the exploration and magic takes place.
The dinner is on the table at 6pm. The smell, the colours, the abundance – it’s a sight to behold. We gather together and share a home-made meal cooked from a scratch with so much love that every bite feels like medicine.
After dinner, you have a little time to unwind. There are beautiful countryside walks as soon as you step out of the gate or you could jump into a hot-tub to decompress and let the jets soothe your aching muscles. You might have a cuppa with someone or choose to sit alone in the peaceful garden and rest.
Our first evening session is sheer magic. You’ll experience the intention constellation process (it’s also got a long name: Identity Oriented Psychotrauma Therapy). Each participant gets to have an individual process in the course of the weekend, where other people represent parts of you. It’s an incredibly embodied practice that moves stuck energy like nothing else does. Embodiment and presence are big parts of this experience so throughout the weekend we do exercises that help you be present and in your body, accompanied by the most gorgeous and inspiring music you can think of.
Let me tell you a little bit about constellations. I’ve been doing them religiously since 2009, at first as a participant and then as a facilitator. In my experience it’s one of the most potent tools for healing I’ve ever experienced.
I’m not the only one though who thinks that way. The most common thing I hear the participants say to each other by the end of each retreat: ‘You are not the same person who walked through that door 4 days ago.’
Here’s what Elin said after attending my January retreat:
We finish the evening with a poem, something that awakens you and deepens the transformation that you’ve experienced during the day. Something like this.
And that was day 1.
If you need to shift something big in your life, something that burdens you and keeps you stuck, come to my retreat held in glorious Dartmoor National Park. You’ll be pampered and loved up into wholeness. The holding and nurture are truly life changing.
The next retreat dates are 14-17 September 2023
The location is in Hennock (near Bovey Tracey TQ13)
The cost is £699 for a shared room and £749 for a single room (you can pay in installments). The price includes a 3-night accommodation, all meals and tuition fee.
